Mystwood: Novgorond is an expansion of the Mystwood world and will be played at the Burgundar LARP Site. Novgorond historically, was an influential Russian city state that often competed for power with Kiev. In the Mystwood world, some of its history has been included, and some has been embellished and changed. The players of Novgorond will be camped out a short distance away from The Wall that separates the civilized world from Thule and the Chaos Wastes. Defenders come from all over Europa to place their name on the “Roll of Defenders” and protect the Wall.

Ty Guerin
Ty began his LARPing career in the Fall of 2011 with the initial Mystwood Playtest. His character started out as a humble Squire of few words but eventually his actions were recognized and he became the first player Knight of the Realm in the game of Mystwood. Since Ty’s beginnings at LARP, he has become an integral part of the Maine LARP community. Ty is always willing to lend a helping hand and has attended more work days and volunteered more of his time than almost any other. 

Being the Co-GM of Mystwood: The Chronicles of Novgorond, Ty is eager to test the limits of “Extreme” Live Action Roleplaying by bringing LARP into the dead of winter. Novgorond will have a much different feel than the original Mystwood Chapter- not only will it be colder, but also more heavily laden with brutal combat, intrigue, commerce and conflict.
